The ADAC Trips App offers a comprehensive solution for leisure and travel planning without any cost. Acting as a guide, itinerary planner, and a repository of ideas for activities, the app tailors its recommendations to individual preferences, aiming to enhance user experiences.

One of the standout features of the app is its intelligent swipe algorithm, which learns user preferences over time to provide custom suggestions for vacations and recreational pursuits. Its proximity search function allows users to discover interesting locations within a 100-kilometer radius, whether at home or at their travel destination. This functionality facilitates vacation planning with insights provided by locals, accessible without any membership login.

For users seeking inspiration, the app’s Explorer Mode unveils exciting destinations perfect for family outings or leisure activities during vacations. Users can easily navigate a leisure map to find restaurants, picturesque spots, and attractions near their desired locations. Additionally, it offers routes for walking, hiking, climbing, or road trips by car or motorcycle. A filtering feature and weather forecasts further enhance the convenience of planning outings via the app.

The app allows users to book enjoyable activities directly within it once all desirable travel information and ideas are compiled. This capability includes booking photography tours, city tours, canyoning adventures, quad excursions, relaxing hours at spas, among many others with just a fingertip.

ADAC also provides the Germany Ticket through this app, ensuring users can travel comfortably and affordably across the country. Priced at 49 euros, this ticket is made available immediately within the monthly cancellable subscription in the app. This initiative is aimed at helping users maximize their leisure time while contributing to environmental sustainability.

In addition to its many features, the app includes an offline mode, allowing users uninterrupted access to their travel plans even in areas with poor network coverage. Users can download maps and information free of charge, making it accessible even for non-members.
